LEMON CAKE | |
1 Duncan Hines yellow supreme cake mix 1 orange, pineapple or lemon Jello, dissolve in 1 c. boiling water, let cool 2/3 c. vegetable oil 4 lg. eggs In a large bowl, mix oil, eggs and cold Jello at low speed; then add cake mix and beat at high speed several minutes. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Have ready 1/4 cup lemon juice; add enough powdered sugar to fill cup; mix well. Take cake from oven, punch holes all over top and spread lemon-sugar mixture over top of hot cake. |
