CINNAMON BUNS 
2 yeast cakes
1 c. scalded & cooled milk
1 c. lukewarm water
1 tbsp. sugar
7 c. flour
6 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
3 beaten eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
Melted butter
Brown sugar
Cinnamon

Dissolve yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar, milk and water. Add 3 cups flour; beat until smooth. Cream shortening and 1/2 cup sugar. Add beaten eggs, remaining flour and salt to make dough. Don't make batter too stiff. Let rise 2 hours then roll out 1/4" thick. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Add raisins if you wish. Roll up; cut, cover and let rise 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees until golden.
