SPANISH PAELLA | |
2 c. rice (UNCLE BEN'S®) 4 c. water 3 sm. squid 1 lb. med. shrimp 6 or 8 muscles 6 or 8 clams (sm.) 5 sm. chicken drums 4 pork ribs 1 sm. onion 1 pkg. safron 1/2 c. oil Salt as desired In a large pan cut the small onion into very tiny pieces. Add the oil (vegetable or olive oil), stirring occasionally. Cut the squid, chicken and pork ribs into small pieces. Add that into the pan and let it fry for about 15 or 20 minutes. Add the water and safron to give it color and also salt as you desire. Let it stay on medium until it starts to boil. You can now add the rice, shrimp, clams and muscles cover the pan and don't stir. Let it cook for about 30 minutes. Try it before you remove. |
