CHINESE BROCCOLI 
3 tbsp. oil
1 green onion, chopped
3 c. broccoli, chopped into flowerets & stems
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. water
1/2 c. chicken broth
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar

Heat oil in frying pan. Add onion and stir-fry until transparent and tender. Push aside in pan. Add broccoli stems and cook about one minute. Add flowerets and cook an additional two minutes. Dissolve the cornstarch in the water and add with the rest of the ingredients. Cook for one minute. Serve immediately.
