EASY TEXAS CHILI 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can pinto beans, drained
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Combine beef and onion in a Dutch oven; cook until beef is browned, stirring to crumble. Add pinto beans and remaining ingredients; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Yield: about 5 cups.
