INEZ'S SUGAR PLUM PUDDING 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. self rising flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
3/4 c. cooking oil
3 eggs
1 c. chopped prunes, cut fine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped nuts

Sift dry ingredients together, mix remaining ingredients, add prunes last. Bake in oblong pan at 325 degrees for 40 minutes.

GLAZE:

1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. white Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1 stick butter

Let come to boil in saucepan and pour over cake while hot. Top with Dream Whip (2 packages). Add drop or two of maple flavoring.
