YEAST BISCUITS 
6 c. flour
3 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 c. warm water
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. warm water
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. shortening

No rising necessary--advisable to allow biscuits to sit a few minutes before baking. Sift dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add buttermilk and pour into dry ingredients. Mix until soft dough is formed. Knead dough lightly on floured board. Store in greased covered bowl in refrigerator. Pull off dough, roll out and cut. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
