NEVER FAIL YEAST BISCUITS 
1 c. warm water
2 pkg. yeast
3 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. oil
2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
5 c. self-rising flour

Mix together warm water, yeast and sugar; when yeast dissolves add oil, buttermilk and baking soda, mix well. Add flour. Put in a covered bowl for a few hours or overnight. Stir, put on floured board and work with hands to form a biscuit.

Bake at 450°F for 10-12 minutes or until brown. Can be kept up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.
