CARROT BARS 
1/2 c. wheat germ
1 c. flour
3/4 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. honey
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. finely grated carrots
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. milk or apple juice
2 eggs, beaten

Combine wheat germ, brown sugar, honey, walnuts, carrots, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl. Stir to mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Stir until evenly mixed. Turn into a 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Cool.

Combine 3 ounces cream cheese, 1 cup powdered sugar and 1/4 cup chopped walnuts and spread over top. Cut into bars.
