PICNIC SLAW 
1 med. head cabbage, shredded
2 med. onions, sliced thin
1/2 c. sugar

1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 c. vinegar
1 c. salad oil

Layer cabbage and onions with sugar in large plastic covered bowl. Mix dressing in a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil. Pour over layered cabbage. Refrigerate overnight, turning container over once in a while to marinate.
