CHOCOLATE CHIFFON PIE 
1 env. plain gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
1/2 c. hot water
2 sq. chocolate
4 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix boiling water and chocolate until smooth. Add softened gelatin to hot chocolate mix and stir until dissolved. Add egg yolks slightly beaten, 1/2 cup sugar, salt and vanilla. Cool and when thick fold in stiff egg whites to which has been added 1/2 cup sugar, and then fold in. Chill. Cover with whipped cream and shredded chocolate.
