1 1/2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1/4 c. Steers syrup
3 c. flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 to 3 tbsp. vanilla

Cream butter, sugar and eggs together. Mix dry ingredients together and add to butter, sugar and egg mixture. Roll out on floured surface very thin. Cut with cookie cutter. Place on cookie sheet and bake about 20 minutes at 350°F or until golden brown.
