STRAWBERRY CREAM COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 egg yolk
2 1/2 c. flour
Strawberry jam

Have all ingredients at room temperature. Cream butter, sugar and cream cheese. Add vanilla and egg yolk, mix well. Add flour, blend. Chill dough. Shape into 1 inch balls. With thimble indent center. Fill with 1/4 teaspoon jam. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees 10-12 minutes. Yield: 5 dozen.
