ESTHER'S YUM - YUM SALAD 
1 env. unflavored gelatin
1 sm. can crushed pineapple
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. cold water
1 c. whipping cream (measure before beating) or 1 pkg. Dream Whip
1 c. grated American or Cheddar cheese
3/4 c. nuts (optional)

Heat pineapple and sugar until dissolved. Add cold water with gelatin in it. Stir well, then cool. Add cheese to cream, then fold into gelatin mixture. Add nuts if desired. Put salad in refrigerator until set, then serve.
