BERRY COBBLER 
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. milk
2 c. fresh berries

Cream butter and sugar and beat. Add egg and beat. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk. Beat until smooth. Fold in berries. Pour into 9 x 9-inch greased pan. Sprinkle with cream topping.

Bake at 375°F for 35 minutes.

For Cream Topping:

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Blend and put on top of cobbler before baking.
