APPLE - CHEESE SALAD 
1 c. hot water
2 c. sm. red hots
1 pkg. lemon Jello
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. finely chopped celery

Pour hot water over red hots and stir until dissolved. Add Jello and stir until dissolved. Add applesauce. Pour 1/2 mixture in mold and refrigerate until firm.

Meanwhile, blend cheese, nuts, celery and mayonnaise. When Jello is firm, spread cheese mixture over it. Add the other 1/2 of Jello mixture on top of cheese mixture. Chill until firm.
