ITALIAN SAUCE FOR SPAGHETTI 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. olive oil
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. parsley
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. Italian spices
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. basil

Saute ground beef, onion, garlic, salt in olive oil. Add remaining ingredients and simmer, covered 2 1/2 hours, or longer. Pour over cooked spaghetti. Add water to sauce if too thick.
