GLORIFIED RICE 
1 c. raw rice
1 pkg. Jell-O
3/4 c. sugar
1 can crushed pineapple, drained
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip

Cook rice about 15 minutes in salt water. Drain and rinse thoroughly. Prepare Jell-O (using juice from pineapple). When Jell-O starts to set, beat until creamy and fluffy. Add sugar, cooked rice, crushed pineapple and marshmallows. Let set until firm. Then add Cool Whip. If you add the cream after mixture sets, it gets much fluffier. I use orange or lime Jell-O, but any kind will do.
