LEMON GLAZE 
1 c. confectioners' sugar
Finely grated peel of 1 lemon
Half the juice of 1 lemon

Sift sugar; add peel, then add juice, 1 teaspoon at a time, until a thick glaze is formed. Drizzle over cake and allow to dry before serving.

NOTE: The glaze will get sticky if allowed to stand too long in very humid weather.
