1 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. Crisco oil

Mix all ingredients and pour into cakes onto hot griddle.
