SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
3 c. plain flour
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
6 eggs
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter. Add sugar and then one egg at a time. Then add flour and sour cream gradually, alternating a little of each and beating well after each addition. Add lemon juice and vanilla. Bake in 325 degree oven for 20 minutes and then at 300 degrees for 1 hour.
