EASY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. lard
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Set aside first 2 ingredients in bowl. Bring next 4 ingredients to a boil; then pour over first 2 ingredients. Mix well, then add remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour into 9 x 13-inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour or 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan and only bake 20 to 25 minutes. Ice while hot.

Icing:

1/2 c. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring to a boil the first 3 ingredients, then add powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix well and pour over hot cake. Cool.
