APPLE SHEET PIE 
3 c. flour
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. baking powder
4 egg yolks (set whites aside)
1 c. water

Mix all together. Use 3/4 of dough for the bottom crust. Pat dough on cookie sheet and brush with egg whites that have been beaten.

Place sliced apples on bottom crust and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll remaining dough for top crust. Place on top of apples and brush with egg whites, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

Bake at 375 degrees until crust is nice and brown and apples are cooked.
