COOKIE SHEET APPLE PIE 
3 c. flour
1 1/4 c. shortening
5 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 egg
3-5 lb. bag apples
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour (heaping)
Cinnamon

Combine flour and shortening with pastry blender. In small bowl, combine vinegar, water and egg. Add to flour/shortening mixture. Mix until well blended. Roll out 1/2 dough for bottom on floured surface and put in ungreased cookie sheet.

Peel and slice apples into crust, heaping, because they'll cook down. Top apples with sugar and 2 tablespoons flour that have been mixed together. Top that with pats of butter. Sprinkle cinnamon over surface. Roll remaining 1/2 of dough out - place over to. Poke holes with fork in top crust. Be sure edges are sealed good in top crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
