COOKIE SHEET APPLE PIE 
4 c. flour
2 c. shortening
4 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Blend together; mix with a fork:

1 egg
1 tbsp. vinegar
Cold water to make 3/4 c. liquid

Add to flour mixture. Refrigerate dough for a few hours. Roll pastry between wax paper with little flour. Slit top crust (dough is quite sticky).

FILLING FOR COOKIE SHEET PIE:

Big mixing bowl of sliced apples
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 tbsp. flour

Use large cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, starting with a cold oven. Confectionery glaze on top.
