APPLE PIE ON A COOKIE SHEET 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt

Mix as for pie crust. Add 2/3 cup milk and 1 egg yolk into crust mixture. Divide dough and roll 1/2 of dough onto a cookie sheet. Cover dough lightly with 2 handful of oatmeal. Peel and slice 8-10 apples and place on top of oatmeal. Sprinkle with 1 cup sugar and cinnamon to taste. Cover with remaining dough and seal edges. Beat egg white until fluffy and spread over top. Bake approximately 1 hour in 350 degree oven.

ICING:

2 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Spread on pie while hot.
