BUTTERY SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. all purpose flour

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Beat until well blended. Stir in flour. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Preheat to 350 degrees. Roll dough on lightly floured board to 1/8 inch. Cut with cookie cutter. Bake on ungreased sheet 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
