SCALLOPED POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 c. mild cheddar cheese, grated
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 onion, finely chopped
3-4 thinly sliced potatoes
1/2 c. milk

Brown ground beef and onion. Drain excess fat. Place ground beef mixture in a greased casserole dish and cover with cheese and seasonings. Place the potatoes over the meat and cheese. Mix 1/2 cup milk with the can of mushroom soup and pour on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
