1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix 14 oz. Kraft caramels 2/3 c. Carnation milk 1 stick butter, softened 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips 1 c. chopped nuts Melt caramels and 1/3 cup Carnation. Set aside. Mix soft butter and dry cake mix. Add 1/3 cup Carnation - spread half in 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Spread caramel mix gently on top. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over caramel. Spoon remaining cake mix. Bake 16 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Cut in small pieces. |
