GREEN BANANA CHIPS 
Several green cooking bananas
Salt
Oil for frying or fat

Slice peeled green bananas in very thin rounds. Fry in hot oil (390 degrees F.) until a light brown. Drain on paper and salt lightly. Serve while still warm, or if they become soft when kept over, reheat in warm oven until crisp. These are very good and take the place of potato chips where potatoes are expensive.
