SPICED NUTS 
1 egg white
1 tsp. cold water
1 lb. nuts
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves

Beat egg white and water until frothy but not stiff. Add nuts. Mix until nuts are well coated.

Combine sugar and spices; add nuts and coat thoroughly. Place nuts on a well buttered cookie sheet and bake in a 225 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely and store in airtight container.
