AJEEN'S TASTY RICE 
Makes a great side dish!

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
salt, to taste
6 cups cooked rice
2 tbsp. sugar
3 drops red food colouring
3 drops yellow food colouring
1 cup frozen vegetables (corn, mixed, etc.)

Place butter in a medium frying pan, allow butter to melt. Add frozen vegetables, sauté vegetable until heated properly.

Add sugar and allow to melt. Add cooked rice and stir until vegetables and rice are evenly distributed. Add food colouring one at a time (optional) and stir rice before serving.
