MANGO CHUTNEY 
1 dozen ripe mangos
1/2 lb. seedless raisins
1/4 lb. ginger
1 clove garlic
1/4 lb. tamarind (seeds removed)
1/2 lb. salt
1/2 lb. sugar
1 qt. vinegar

Wash and peel mangos, cutting flesh into strips. Peel garlic and ginger, pound or chop finely. Mix all solid ingredients. Boil vinegar, pour over mixture. Stir well. Bottle.
