1 egg
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour milk
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 c. white flour

Beat egg and add sugar. Then sour milk and dry ingredients sifted together. Add soda last in a little milk. Then melted butter. Mix thoroughly. Bake at 350 degrees in shallow pan about 30 minutes.
