STEAK AND ONION PIE 
1 lb. round steak, cubed
1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
Dash of ginger
Dash of allspice
1/4 c. shortening
1 c. sliced onion
2 c. diced potatoes

Dip meat into mixture of salt, pepper and spices. Brown. Add onions. Cook until golden. Add water, cover and simmer until meat is tender (about 45 minutes). Add potatoes, cover and simmer about 10 minutes.

Turn into greased 9 inch pie pan. Cover with your favorite pie crust, brush with slightly beaten egg. Bake at 450 degrees for 25 minutes.
