1 c. sugar 1 c. Crisco 1 egg, unbeaten 2 tbsp. milk 2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tsp. lemon extract 2 tsp. vanilla extract Cream sugar and Crisco. Add egg and milk and beat well. Stir in dry ingredients and flavorings. Roll small balls in granulated sugar. Flatten slightly with fork and bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. | |

This recipe is awesome, thanks so much. Cookies are very tasty and soft and chewy if removed from oven a bit early....or nice and crisp if left at 10 min. I make this recipe a few times a month and they are gone in a day as my family loves them!
