LOVAGE SPREAD 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 or 3 tbsp. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped lovage leaves and tender stems

Chop lovage and onion in food processor. Add cream cheese and blend. Let flavors mellow for 1 to 2 hours before serving. Use as a dip/cracker spread on a baked potato or instead of mayo on a sandwich.

For a cheese ball, omit the onion and use 3 tablespoons peach jam and sliced almonds.
