"DUTCH" STEAK 
2 or 3 lbs. hamburger
3 lbs. onions
1 lg. can tomatoes with puree
1 lb. macaroni shells
Salt & pepper to taste

Slice and brown onions in small amount of butter. Cook shells according to directions. In a large casserole layer uncooked hamburger, 1/2 of the cooked onions, 1/2 of the cooked shells. Pour 1/2 of the tomatoes on top. Repeat process, ending with tomatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for about one hour. Flavor improves if made day before and then reheated. Feeds 8 to 10 people.
