TANGY MEATBALLS 
2 eggs
2 c. quick cooking oats
1 12-oz. can evaporated milk
1 c. chopped onion
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3 lbs. lean ground beef

Sauce:

2 c. catsup
1-1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. chopped onion
1-2 tsp. liquid smoke
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Put the ground beef in a large bowl. Add the eggs, oats, evaporated milk, onion, salt and pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well and shape into meatballs. Place in two 9 x 13 pans, and bake uncovered at 375°F for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and drain. Place all the meatballs in one pan. In a saucepan, bring the catsup, brown sugar, chopped onion, liquid smoke, and garlic powder to a boil; pour over the meatballs. Return pan to the oven and bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until meatballs are done. Serve as a main course or an appetizer.
