POUND CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
3 eggs
3 c. self-rising flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time; beat well before adding to sugar and butter mixture. Gradually add flour and alternate with milk, beginning and ending with the flour. Lastly add vanilla and lemon flavoring. Cream until smooth and fluffy. Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 1 hour.

DECORATION ICING:

1/4 c. shortening
2 c. powdered sugar
Dash of salt
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Mix together; beat well with mixer. Make sure it is stiff. This is a non- greasy icing.

CHOCOLATE ICING:

3 tsp. cocoa
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
Vanilla
1 c. coconut
1 c. nuts

Bring cocoa, butter, sugar and milk to boil and cook for a minute or two. Add vanilla, coconut and nuts.
