WILD RICE HOTDISH | |
1 3/4 c. wild rice 1 lb. hamburger 2 onion, chopped 1 sm. green pepper 1 c. celery 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of mushroom soup 3 tbsp. soy sauce Soak rice in hot water for 2 hours. Fry meat, onions, green pepper and celery. Add salt and pepper. Place rice in 3 quarts of boiling water. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Let stand 10 minutes. Drain. Put into casserole dish and add meat soup mixtures. Mix thoroughly. Bake for one hour at 350 degrees. May take 1 1/2 hours to be soft. |
