PEANUT BLOSSOMS (COOKIES) 
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. crunchy peanut butter
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
chocolate kisses

Beat butter and peanut butter. Gradually add sugars. Cream thoroughly before adding egg. Beat some more. Combine flour, baking soda and baking powder; beat into creamed mixture. Chill for at least 1 hour.

Make into balls. Roll balls in sugar and press chocolate kiss in center of each. Place 2 inches apart on greased pan.

Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
