RHUBARB DESSERT 
8 c. rhubarb
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
6 tbsp. butter
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Cream 1 1/2 cups sugar, milk, baking powder, butter, flour, and salt. Pour mixture over rhubarb. Combine 2 cups sugar, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, and sprinkle over batter. Pour 1 cup of boiling water over mixture; don't stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
