GARLIC POTATOES 
1 1/4 lbs. potatoes, peeled (3 med.)
1/2 tsp. salt
Freshly ground pepper
12 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
2/3 c. whipping cream
3 cloves garlic, crushed

Combine potatoes in large saucepan with enough water to cover and bring to boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes. Drain; let stand until cool. Preheat oven to 350 degrees; slice potatoes thinly and arrange in lightly buttered shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with salt.
