1 egg
2/3 c. milk
2 tbsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
Dash of salt

Beat eggs and milk together. Sift flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Add to eggs and milk. Beat until smooth. Place in funnel. Hold finger over bottom of funnel. Drop batter into hot fat, 370 degrees. Swirl into circle, center out, make each cake 6 inches in diameter. Fry until golden brown and drain on paper towel. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
