BEAN POT 
1 lb. ground meat
1/2 to 1 lb. bacon, cut in small pieces
1 (2 lb.) can pork and beans
2 (1 lb.) cans lima beans, drained
1 (1 lb.) can pinto beans, drained
1 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. chili powder
3 drops Texas Pete hot sauce
2 tbsp. liquid hickory smoke
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 to 3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown meat and remove from skillet. When done, then saute onions until transparent, drain off fat. Place ingredients into crockpot, cover and cook approximately 2 to 3 hours on low. Stir occasionally.

You may also cook on top of stove on very low heat for approximately 1 hour. Stir constantly to keep from sticking to bottom of pan. Very good with corn bread and slaw. May also be eaten over rice.
