ANGEL BISCUITS 
5 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. warm water
1/2 c. solid shortening
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 pkg. yeast
1/4 tsp. salt

Dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside. In large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and shortening. Mix in buttermilk gradually and then add dissolved yeast. Mix well. Shape into rolls, dip them in melted shortening and let rise. Bake at 350 degrees until brown. Makes about 3 dozen.

NOTE: Dough may be kept in refrigerator for up to 1 week and then made into rolls.
