1 yellow cake mix 1 lg. can crushed pineapple, undrained 1 c. sugar 1 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding 1 c. coconut (optional) 1 (8 or 9 oz.) container Cool Whip Chopped nuts (optional) Bake cake according to directions. Mix pineapple, juice, and sugar. Bring to a boil. Remove cake from oven; poke holes in cake with fork. Pour and spoon pineapple mix over top of cake. Chill. Mix pudding mix according to directions. Mix in coconut. Spread over pineapple. Spread Cool Whip over pudding mixture. Sprinkle chopped nuts over Cool Whip. Chill several hours. |
