BEST COFFEE CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. butter flavored Crisco, melted
2 eggs
1 pkg. pecan or coconut almond frosting mix
1/4 c. melted butter flavored Crisco

Combine cake mix with 1/2 cup melted shortening and 2 eggs. Mix by hand, stir until cake is moistened. Pat into a greased and floured 13"x9"x2" pan. Top with any canned pie filling. Combine frosting mix with 1/4 cup melted shortening. Sprinkle over pie filling. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees. When cake is cool you can drizzle a thin icing mix over cake.
