BILL'S FAVORITE FRUITCAKE 
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 eggs (slightly beaten)
1 1/3 c. (15 oz. can) sweetened condensed milk
2 c. (1 lb. jar) mixed candied fruit
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 (28 oz.) jar mince meat
1 c. walnut meats (coarsely chopped)

Butter 9 inch tube pan. Line with wax paper or cut brown paper bag and butter again. Sift flour and baking soda. Combine eggs, mincemeat, condensed milk, nuts and fruit. Fold in dry ingredients. Pour into pan. Bake in slow oven (300 degrees) for 2 hours until center springs back and top in golden. Cool. Turn out. Remove paper. Decorate with nuts and cherries.

To use 9 ounce box mince meat, crumble contents of 2 boxes into pan. Add 1 1/2 cups water, heat and stir until lumps are broken. Boil one minute and cool.
